This book is expensive, but worth every penny. The first African Hunter (which was in black and white) by James Mellon was a masterpiece. This new version edited by Craig T. Boddington and Peter Flack is another masterpiece - in full color. BREAKTHROUGH publisher Larry Blomquist calls it, "the new bible of African big game species...for reference and for identifying hundreds of species hunted in Africa." The book covers animals indigenous to twenty-five African countries, from elephants and plains game to hares. There are photos of every species covered with over 600 photographs of live and freshly taken game. This book is a must for any taxidermist doing African safari trophies.
