Tommy Pulatie
This issue’s cover features the work and art by taxidermist Tommy Pulatie Jr. of Lampasas, Texas. This eye-catching entry won the 2022 NTA Best Abstract/Unconventional Habitat Award. His whitetail also scored a 90 and first place in the Open Division. This NTA award is similar to the Interpretive Taxidermy Division award first established in 2013 at the World Taxidermy Championships®.
