The cover for this issue features a beautiful ring-necked pheasant by Troy Rose of Kooskia, Idaho. He entered it at the 2014 
United Taxidermists Association competition in North Platte, Nebraska, this spring and won a first place in the Master Division, 
the Pheasants Forever Award, UTA Masters Champion (Non-Waterfowl), and UTA Best All Around Taxidermist.
