ON THE COVER Katie Rogers - Black Eagle, Montana
Once a year we feature the winners of the Breakthrough Award for Judges' Choice Best of Show. Taxidermists who are winners of the prestigious honor competed at state, regional, national, and international shows and earned a place of honor in this issue. Our cover artist is Katie Rogers from Black Eagle, Montana, who captured our attention with a caribou she shot, mounted, and entered at the Montana Taxidermists Association competition, winning the Breakthrough Award for Judges' Choice Best of Show. We congratulate Katie and all the the very talented taxidermists that won a Breakthrough Award in 2012.
