About the Cover:
Ashley Barrett captured the Simon Blackshaw Award for Judges' Choice Best of Show at the recent 2022 World Taxidermy Championships® for this mountain lion composed in a mid-air leap in chase of a mature timber wolf. This was Ashley’s second Best in World win, both in Large Lifesize mammals with his first in 2009, also with a mountain lion. Ashley also placed Second in World Large Lifesize in 2011 with a  mountain lion and Third in World in 2011 for Medium/Small Lifesize with a bobcat in 2011. This issue is devoted to the taxidermy winners of the Best in World titles for 2022 with a listing of all competitors at the 2022 show.
