ON THE COVER
Moose Calf by Jean Roll
The moose calf on our cover was mounted by taxidermist Jean Roll of Perry, Michigan. Her most recent accomplishment with this piece was a first in the Division of Excellence and winner of the WASCO award at the N.T.A. Convention in Huntsville, Alabama, this summer. Jean raises and cares for may species of mammals and often receives orphaned wild game juveniles. Unfortunately, some do not survive and Jean does nature justice with her skills as a professional taxidermist. Her trio of jumping baby aoudads graced the cover of Issue 34 in the fall of 1993. We are very proud to again feature one of Jean s artful compositions on our cover.
