ON THE COVER
JEFF MOURNING: Tiger Trout
Jeff Mourning has earned his place at the top of the list for major awards in 2003. His winnings at the recent World Taxidermy Championships and the National Taxidermists Association showcased his abilities in both reptile and fish taxidermy. This tiger trout made its debut at the 2003 NTA competition and captured The Breakthrough Award for Judges' Choice Best of Show, First Place Challenge of The Art, and North American Champion for Cold Water Fish (Skin Mounts). There is no doubt that we will see much more of Jeff and his work in future competitions to come. Jeff's paint schedule for this tiger trout begins on page 145.
