COVER ARTIST: LARRY JENSEN
This issue's cover and Gallery are dedicated to the late Larry E. "Lars" Jensen, who died suddenly May 12, 2002, of a massive heart attack at his home in Lewistown, Montana. In 1999 at the National Taxidermists Association convention he won Judges' Choice Best of Show and National Champion Large Lifesize Mammals with the mountain lion shown on page 5. Larry was a major contributor to Breakthrough and was highly respected industry wide. He will be missed but not forgotten, because his taxidermy work and his articles in Breakthrough will be enjoyed for many years to come.
