Issue 119, Fall 2015

ON THE COVER:
Frank Newmyer

Nearly 20 years ago Frank Newmyer campaigned to add a new division at the World Taxidermy Championships® for collective artists. His campaign succeeded in 1997 when the Collective Artists division was added. This division now brings forward many of the most artistic entries at the WTC. This beautiful composition of a bufflehead pair in stormy water by Frank Newmyer and Earl Martz was one of five Best of Category winners in the Collective Artists division and earned our selection for this issue’s cover. Frank and Earl also won a second place Best of Category Recreations/Reproductions in this division. Every entry in this division was “cover worthy,” and they get their deserved high recognition in this issue’s Gallery of Wildlife Art
