In this combination PowerPoint presentation and live demonstration, Simon Blackshaw of The Netherlands teams up with Tom Voyer of New Hampshire to explain the procedures for skin mounting an iguana with a cast head. In the slide show, Simon explains about anatomy, casting the head, setting the eyes, carving the body, and presents a paint schedule for painting the artificial head and natural skin body. In the live demonstration, the natural head is removed from the skin, the skin is prepared for mounting and the legs and toes are filled with clay and shaped. The seminar does not demonstrate the final mounting procedure, but all of the steps are clearly explained. Recorded live at the 2009 World Taxidermy Championships. Approximate running time: 1:57.
