2005's World Champion Fish Taxidermist Gary Bruch of Pennsylvania is host of this three-hour master class on fish painting and scale tipping techniques. Even though Gary demonstrates with a reproduction fish, the same procedures could be used to finish a skin mounted rainbow trout. With a heavy emphasis on reference, Gary switches back and forth from live painting demonstrations to PowerPoint slides of the painting steps he uses. Paints, airbrushes, lighting, spawning colors, spot patterns, scale tipping mediums, color theory and pricing are all subjects explored in depth.
