Waterfowl expert Cory Caruthers of Iowa is consistently at the top of the list when winners are announced at taxidermy competitions. In this live mounting demonstration, Cory starts with a prepared skin and goes through all the steps to produce a beautiful standing duck mount. Cory explains many of the finer points of competition bird mounting along the way as he uses an artificial head, wrapped wings and legs, a modified commercial mannikin, and caulk for this masterfully balanced one-legged pose. Recorded live at the 2007 World Taxidermy Championships. Approximate running time: 1:59.
