Painting Schedule: Mutton Snapper

Mutton Snappers are beautiful and delicious, and are native to the Atlantic waters of North and South America, from Massachusetts to southern Brazil, including the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. They are particularly common in the Caribbean. They inhabit reef environments with adults found in areas with rock or coral, while juveniles occur in sany habitats with plentiful weed growth. They can be found mostly at depths from 25 to 300 feet with juvenile fish found in shallow flats and inshore waterways.
