On the Cover
Red pandas are native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. They are on the endangered species list with fewer than 10,000 in captivity and in the wild. Caroline Brak-Dolny’s recreation of this animal won Best in World Recreation and then captured the Simon Blackshaw Award for Judges’ Choice Best of Show at the 2017 World Championships. In a future issue Caroline has agreed to do an article for you on how she recreated this red panda. Caroline is from Frankford, Ontario.
